White Lake Limited Partnership, as represented by its general partner, White Lake Resources Corp., is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Plant Clerk.

The White Lake Limited Partnership is owned by the Netmizaaggamig Nishnaabeg (Pic Mobert First Nation) and has been mandated to develop, implement and manage business opportunities for the benefit of the Pic Mobert First Nation and its members. The Partnership has a diverse range of business lines and capabilities which are expanding and diversifying, in part due to new mining and forestry developments, and employs and manages a total staff of approximately 55+ people. This position reports to the Manager of Mining and the onsite Contract Supervisor under the direction of our Barrick Contract. The position is located at the Williams Mine Marathon Ontario.

Position Description:

This role will assist in the development and completion of site maintenance plans. Role function includes various plant clerical duties, filing, scanning, updating of PM files, assisting in the optimization of plant compliance, time entry, scheduling, other clerical tasks as required. May be required to step-up and assist other planning roles as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of plant clerical duties – (scanning, filing, time entries, etc.)
  • Ability to plan and or close work orders in SAP
  • Assist with backlog review and prioritization
  • Ability to order parts, tools, equipment, external services within SAP
  • Communicate with maintenance trades and supervisors to ensure timely feedback is provided
  • Support other planners as required
  • Attend and participate in all safety meetings, town hall meetings
  • Time Management – Able to pace own work and work unsupervised. Must be capable of readjusting priorities as  needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Aptitude and ability to identify improvements

Qualifications:

Practical experience within the maintenance industry

  • SAP experience. Ability to work effectively within a CMMS
  • Sound understanding of maintenance standards and procedures
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and reasoning skillsets
  • Ability to assist in the development of maintenance schedules and plans
  • Proficient in feedback and follow-up on all areas of planning cycles
  • Previous maintenance clerical or planning experience
  • Mining plant experience considered an asset

Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug test, physical demand analysis, and attend Barrick Site Orientation.
  • Must be a team player, able to work in a team environment, and able to always communicate well with supervisors,  co-workers, and all Mine Personal in a sensitive, tactful, diplomatic, and professional manner.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Valid Driver’s license.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for getting to and from work for all scheduled shifts.
    • Or reliable, and confirmed transportation to each, and every scheduled shift.
