Reporting to the Operations Manager of White Lake Resources Corporation, and ultimately the Director of Operations, the on-call crew transpiration worker will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a WLLP owned vehicle to transport workers to and from Barrick Hemlo mine site. This position is to cover the full-time worker while they are on vacation or unavailable and is an on-call, back up position.
This position is based in Netmizaaggamig.
Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Operations Manager
• Perform mandatory Pre and Post vehicle inspections.
• Constantly monitor vehicle condition, and driving conditions
• Care and maintenance of the interior and exterior of vehicle
• Be able to take direction and communicate verbally
• Transport local WLLP employes on the Barrick Hemlo Labour service agreement to and
from work
• Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications:
• Valid class G driver’s license
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean drivers abstract is required
This position is only open to Band and Community Members of Netmizaaggmig Nishnaabeg First Nation.
