Applications are being accepted from Pic Mobert First Nation Band and community members for positions on a committee that administers a fund to support economic and employment development in the forest industry that is financially supported by White River Forest Products.
The fund is available to invest in programs and projects that support employment and self-employment in the forest products industry within our traditional territory.
Committee members should have a genuine interest in advancing employment and self-employment in the forest industry, and time to make a positive and productive contribution to the work of the committee.
Duties will include receiving and reviewing funding proposals, making recommendations on funding and reporting in investments and results.
Meetings will likely be held every other month in either Pic Mobert or White River.
